Location Instructions

From I-75 (from the north): Take Exit 220 (State Road 64) and head west. Continue west for several miles. After crossing over two bodies of water, you will come to a traffic signal. (East Bay Dr. /Route 789) Turn Left. Continue south. East Bay Dr. /Route 789 becomes Gulf Dr. After crossing the drawbridge, Gulf Dr. /Route 789 becomes Gulf of Mexico Drive. You are now on Longboat Key! Continue south for approximately 6.5 miles. The Longboat Bay Club (3200 Gulf of Mexico Drive) will be on your left. If you reach the stoplight at Bay Isles Parkway, you have gone approximately half 1/2 mile too far south. From Tampa Int’l Airport, take I-275 through St. Petersburg, cross the Skyway Bridge ($1 toll) to I-75 south, and proceed as directed above. From I-75 (from the south): Take Exit 210 (Fruitville Rd.), head west. Continue west until Fruitville Rd. ends at US 41 (Tamiami Trail) Turn left (south). Go one block to Gulfstream Dr (also called the Ringling Causeway, or Route 789). Turn right. Go over the bridge, and continue to St. Armands Circle. Take the first arm of the circle to the right (marked for Longboat Key and Route 789) Cross the bridge (Ringling Causeway/Route 789 becomes Gulf of Mexico Dr.) and continue north, approximately 3.5 miles. The Longboat Bay Club will be on your right, about 1/2 mile north of the stoplight at Bay Isles Parkway. From Sarasota/Bradenton Int Airport, turn right on University Parkway to US 41south (also called Tamiami Trail). Turn left. Continue south until you reach Gulfstream Dr. Then proceed as directed above, starting at the underlined portion.
